Calmer Schools and IM4 offer an MTSS framework that helps create emotionally safe, resilient classrooms by integrating trauma‑informed practices with access to evidence-based interventions rooted in the science of learning.

Tier 3: Intensive Individualized Support

Tier 2: Targeted Interventions and Supports
  • IM4: evidence and research-based intervention system
  • Web-based application developed at the University of Minnesota
  • Coordinated intervention process: match, map, monitor, meet
  • Targeted behavior plans, progress monitoring, data-based decision making
  • Coaching for reset spaces and intervention teams

Mental Health Literacy for Students

A practical mental health literacy program that helps students understand, talk about, and seek support for their
mental health—equipping staff and families to
reinforce learning at home and school.

Students engage in hands-on simulations to learn about their own mental health.The lessons feature motivational messages from fellow students discussing their strategies for managing mental health.
Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate in Mental Health Literacy: Level 1. Students also have the opportunity to earn volunteer or SSL hours.
